How many passengers does a trolley hold?
The trolley holds 31 passengers
Where do we board the trolley?
The standard pickup location for guests is the Red Lion Boise Downtowner located at 1800 Fairview Ave. We pick up on the east end of the building where the parking lot extends around the building. If you are a guest of a Boise hotel, please inquire with guest services about other possible pickup locations or feel free to contact us.
Is the trolley air conditioned?
No, the trolley is an open-air trolley which enhances the viewing experience. You are welcome to bring along cold beverages if the weather is hot, so long as they have a lid of some sort and are non-alcoholic.
Can we bring blankets?
Yes, and please dress for the weather, the trolley does have vinyl windows that we can put down if the weather requires or upon request.
Can we bring drinks on board?
Yes, drinks are welcome so long as they have a lid of some sort and are non-alcoholic.
I’m bringing an infant or child, do I need a carseat?
No, you do not need a carseat for a child to ride along. You can choose to hold your child or infant if you wish. We are a slow moving vehicle but if you wish to have your infant carseat carrier so they have somewhere to ride you may bring it aboard.
Does the trolley make any stops?
The standard historical tour is a fun trolley ride with audio tour with a stop where passengers can get out momentarily if they choose at a couple of locations. Certain days have a couple of stops where guests can get out if they wish. For private tours, stops can be made available upon request.
